What Seth wrote in 2015!

I’ve been so busy working on my next book I forgot to do this!

Here are the works I published in 2015. I think they all turned out quite well.

Novels

The Traitor Baru Cormorant — When the Empire of Masks subverts and conquers her home, young Baru Cormorant chooses to enter an Imperial school, claw her way to the top, and tear the system down. At any cost.

Novelettes

Morrigan in Shadow — Noemi Laporte became a monster to save her home. Maybe, one day, she can be a person again. A love and war story. On Clarkesworld.

Short Stories

Please Undo This Hurt — What if you saw that you’d, inevitably, do more harm than good? What if you could opt out? Probably the most personal story I’ve ever written, and the rawest. On Tor.com.

Three Bodies at Mitanni — Would you destroy one world to save humanity? Fine. Would you destroy your family, too? In Analog. Print only.

Video Games

Destiny: The Taken King — The Books of Sorrow. I have no idea what a 15,000 word epic metaphysical history nested inside a bestselling video game franchise qualifies as, but I’m really proud of it. You can read it online.

Oh, it was a mistake for me to check my favorite authors’ blogs today, after just starting nursing school! First, I find out Megan Whalen Turner’s new books are on their way in the near future and the rest of the Thief series will be reissued, and then I discover more stories by you! My mind is no longer on studying. Also, best of luck with your new book! I’ll definitely be getting it when it’s out.

Just Read “The Traitor Baru Cormorant”. I’m sad there won’t be sequel. Because how could that be any better! I mean where could you go that could still have a normal ending. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to root for her or if she’s a psychopath. I know, I know, lessor of two evils.

I kinda hope you never touch this story at yet see it being a David Webber series, but more financial political. But I’d be happy if it was sort of a one off like Charles Stross’s Neptune’s Brood. Except that was book 2 of Freyaverse? Ha ha ha. Looking forward to the next book!

I’m glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for taking the time to let me know! There will indeed be a sequel, and I am working on it right now.
